Then he joined with Lehman Brothers investment bank, based in New York, NY. Before he celebrated his 32nd birthday, Steve was already a managing director. Steve Schwarzman offered his services as an adjunct professor at the exalted Yale School of Business Management and also donates to many charities, educational programs, and the arts. As another example of his activities, he is Chairman to the Board of Trustees at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in New York, NY. On top of all that, he proudly announced on March 11th, 2008 that he was giving 100 million dollars to the New York Public Library to help them enlarge. He also serves the library as a trustee.
