How Can a Debt Settlement Company Help You?

Saturday, February 28th, 2009

Some individuals do not recognize how critical a debt settlement company can be to their future financial security. Using a debt settlement company to revive bad credit can affect many different areas of life and create better opportunities in the future once your bad credit has been restored. Using a debt settlement company can help a person establish great credit quicker and go a long way towards helping them attain the things that they need in life.

Using a debt settlement company will mean that you will have a easier chance of being approved for additional credit or loan products in the future. Being able to be authorized for additional loans is very crucial for buying a new car or acquiring a mortgage loan to buy a house. Fixing poor credit with a debt settlement company can improve your chances of being authorized by the lender or the credit card company that you are interested in doing business with.

People that have utilized a debt settlement company will commonly get lower interest rates for credit cards and loans when equated to a individual that carries poor credit and bad marks on their credit report. Credit card companies view the individual as a small risk client when they have utilized a debt relief company to assist. This supplies the credit card company with the option to provide the person a lower rate because they think that they will recieve their payments on time. Aquiring a lower interest rate can save you tons of money through the years of your loan.

Wedding Photography: Backup Strategies for your Digital Photos (Part 1)

Saturday, February 28th, 2009

Digital wedding photography presents special challenges to the every day wedding photographer. The risk of losing the precious wedding moments of a couple brings nightmares and anxiety to most photographers that I know.

As a professional wedding photographer and a certified computer systems administrator I will offer some recommendations about the best way to protect digital wedding images.

1. Star by formatting the flash cards and/or micro drives in the camera that you will use to take the photos. Even when it is possible to format the flash cards in your computer using a flash card reader it can lead to compatibility issues and data loss.

2. Although flash cards are very resistant to abuse it is always better to play it safe and keep them away from shock, heat, and magnetic sources.

3. Once you return from the wedding download the images to your computer. Once they are downloaded, browse through the images to ensure they were successfully downloaded and then create backups to CD and/or DVD. Never browse through your images on the Flash card. In our studio we create two DVD copies of the files and we also copy them to two different hard drives on different computers. One of the DVD copies is stored at a different location.

4.A Computer RAID (Redundant Array of Independent (or Inexpensive) Disks offers a great deal of fault tolerance to protect your data. There are several levels of RAID and each of them offers different levels of data protection. For practical and common implementation I am going to discuss the most common types of RAID:

Level 1: Mirroring and Duplexing: requires two drives and the data is written (mirror) on the two drives simultaneously. If one of the drives fails the data can be recovered from the good drive.

Level 5: Block Interleaved Distributed Parity: This is one of the most common and solid implementations of RAID. It requires a minimum of 3 drives and allows the data to be written across all of the drives. If one of them fails you simply replace the failed drive and the RAID is automatically rebuilt.

Most operating systems allow you to build some form of RAID however if the OS fails you also lose the RAID. The recommended RAID is trough the use of a RAID card.

5. Tape backup offers a very solid way of backing up your files and operating system. It has been around for a long time and has proved to be the most reliable form of backup. Tapes are very portable and make the storage at outside locations very convenient. Tape backups require a backup program what makes scheduling backups and automating the process easy.

6. Offsite FTP Backups Can also be set automated using computer programs. At a set time interval or continuously the computer that holds the data connects to a remote location server and uploads the files. The main disadvantage is that they create a lot of Internet traffic and in the case of wedding photographers that store gigabytes of images the transfer time can become prohibitive.

In Part 2 I will discuss additional strategies to protect your beautiful wedding photos.

5 Website Design Tips to Make Your Site More Attractive

Friday, February 27th, 2009

The question that I most frequently hear from people is “How can I attract thousands of visitors to my site each month?” Well, driving high traffic to your site is important, but what’s even more important, is designing a website that makes them stay.

After all, what’s the use of spending all your time and money on creating a unique product that many people want, building a 100-page site, winning top rankings on search engines, and spending $5,000 in advertising if visitors don’t stay once they arrive?

In this article, you’re going to learn 5 important website design tips to make your site more attractive. So not only your website will attract many visitors, but it will also motivate them to stay for a while, which is your only chance to let them know about your offers and turn them into newsletter subscribers or even paying customers.

#1. Your Site Should Be Fast Loading

One of the biggest problems you see on the Internet is that some websites are slow loading. There are many sites out there that take more than 20 seconds to load — a lifetime on the Internet. People just don’t have time and patience to wait that long.

The best way to make your site fast-loading is to use more text and fewer graphic. Wild graphics and animations are “traffic killers” so don’t use them unless you really need to. If it takes more than 10 seconds for your web pages to load, chances are you’re losing as much as half of your site’s traffic!

Don’t assume all visitors have fast connections. Many people still use slow connections like 36.6 kbps or 28.8 kbps, so design your website the way everyone can view it quickly — not just the few who have
high-speed connections.

To make sure your website loads fast, view your site with slow connections. If it doesn’t load in 10 seconds, reduce the number and the size of graphics. WebGraphics Optimizer is a great software that helps you reduce graphic size while the quality doesn’t really change and it looks almost the same.

#2. Make Your Website Easy to Navigate

People should easily and quickly find what they’re looking for. Don’t make your visitors click on 10 links, scroll down each page, and click on the “back” button several times to finally find the page they’re looking for.

Statistics show that we lose up to 50% of visitors each time we make them click on a link. That’s why all the pages of your site shouldn’t be more than five clicks away from your home page. Make your visitors enjoy surfing your site. It should be easy for them to find the information that they want.

Also remember not everyone enters your website from the home page, especially if they find your site through search engines. So make sure each page should have a title so they always know where they are at, and a link to the most important pages of your website (e.g. home page, order page, contact page and so on).

Another way to make your site easy-to-navigate is using clear link texts. Visitors must know where each link will take them at a glance. For example, if you want to create a link to your order page, “Sale” is not a good name because it’s unclear and confusing. Use “Order” instead because it’s common.

The key is making it easy for them to find what they want, so make your site easy to navigate.

#3. Use Suitable Colors

Your copy is the most important part of your website, so it’s essential that you make it easy to read, and nothing is easier to read than black text on white background.

The easier it is to read your copy, the more effective it will be. If you use inappropriate colors that make your copy difficult to read, few people will bother reading it, and if no one reads your copy how are you going to make sales?

#4. Don’t Overuse Pop-ups

What’s a pop-up? It’s a window — usually a small window — that is opened when you click on a link and open or close a window. Unfortunately many webmasters go overboard with pop-ups which only results in annoying visitors.

They think if a pop-up appears and asks to order each time a visitor closes a window, he’s more likely to make a purchase… but they’re completely wrong. Not only will they not make any sales, but they’ll also lose a potential customer forever.

Don’t get me wrong! Using pop-ups can be an effective way to get a higher response to your offer. What I’m saying is that you shouldn’t overuse and abuse them. They’re good marketing tools if you use them wisely.

Pop-ups are best used to offer something of high value to your site visitors… something that you know they’re very interested in. Make an offer that they can’t resist!

#5. Remember Your Purpose

Why are you creating your website? Do you want to sell your products and services? What do you expect from your site? Decide on your purpose before you start designing your site. This is extremely important.

Each part of your website should lead to your purpose. All the links, graphics, titles, and the colors you choose should lead to what you want from your site.

Sometimes people are so wrapped up in being a website owner that they forget their site is to sell. Instead of designing a sale-oriented website, all they’re trying to do is designing a “thing of beauty”. But there’s a problem here: beauty won’t sell.

It doesn’t matter if your visitors are impressed by professional Flash animations and graphics on your site. You should ask yourself: Does your website sell or just impress people? Do people say,”Wow! How beautiful!” and then close the window and go to another site, whithout even noticing your salesletter at the bottom of the page?

Keep your purpose in mind all the time. If you expect your website to sell, then design it the way it makes visitors interested in your offer and motivates them to buy.

Don't Overlook The Easy Sales

Don’t Overlook The Easy Sales
Copyright 2003 Bob Leduc

Are you so busy chasing down new customers that you
completely overlooked these two prime sources for easy
sales?

Source 1: Existing Customers

Here are two ways you can use your relationship with
existing customers to generate additional business.

1. Offer Them Related Products or Services

Your existing customers already know you and trust you. It’s
easier and cheaper to get more business from them than to
get any business from new prospects.

Find or create additional products and services you can
offer to existing customers. Your new products and services
should be closely related to those your customers originally
bought from you.

For example, I recently spoke with a network marketer
selling nutritional products. She also works with a health
club that pays her a commission for each new member she
signs up. She told me that over one third of her income is
generated by offering the related product to her customers.

2. Ask Them to Help You Find New Customers

Do you have a system to get referrals from satisfied
customers? If not, you are losing a lot of profitable sales
you could easily get.

One way to get referrals is with a brief Customer Survey.
Send it by postal mail, email, fax or post it on a web page.
The one I use asks only 3 questions:

1. What did you like best about our product (or service)?

2. What can we do to improve the value of our product (or
service) for you?

3. Who do you know trying to solve (state the problem you
solved for your customer)?
…or:
Who do you know that wants to (state the benefit provided
by your product or service)?

The first two questions focus attention on the benefits you
provide. Your customer is more likely to volunteer referrals
when they’re thinking about the value of those benefits.

You also gain something else with the first two questions.
The first question often generates a response you can use as
a testimonial (with your customer’s permission). The second
question may provide an early warning of a problem you need
to solve …or alert you to an opportunity you can exploit.

Source 2: Previous Non-Buyers

Most prospects will not buy from you the first time they
hear about your product or service …or the first time they
visit your web site. You can recover many of these lost
sales with a follow up system.

Your follow up system can be as simple as contacting
previous prospects occasionally with a new offer. Or it can
be more complex such as distributing a weekly newsletter
with topics related to your product or service.

Problem For Internet Marketers: Many visitors to your web
site want what you offer – but they are not ready to buy
right now. You cannot follow up with them if they click away
from your site before you find out who they are and how to
contact them.

The Solution: Post a complimentary offer on your site for
something valuable to prospects in your targeted market.
Deliver it only by email so you can capture the email
address of each visitor who requests it.

For example, offer a complimentary subscription to your
email newsletter if you publish one. Otherwise, offer a
special report, a source list or other valuable information
they cannot get anywhere else.

Tip: Try to get each prospect’s first name too. Use it to
personalize your follow up messages. People cannot resist
reading something when it is personally addressed to them.

Include existing customers and previous non-buyers in your
marketing efforts. Both are a prime source for easy sales.
And you don’t have to spend money on advertising to get
them.

Choose A Host That Matches Your Home Business Needs

Tuesday, February 24th, 2009

With plethora of hosting companies offering services, choosing a good web host seems an intimidating task. The technical jargon is hard to decipher and that makes it difficult further. It is better to prepare beforehand and then search for offers rather than acting otherwise.

What is web hosting? If one compares the web to land hosing is the place where your office or website will be placed. Server is the computer which stores your website files and allows them to be viewed on clicking the link to your site.

With free hosting out of question for business and dedicated hosting being too expensive, shared hosting is the only and good option for home business. As the name suggests, in shared hosting your site is stored with many others unlike dedicated hosting which stores only your site.

Now let us discuss other features:

•Disc or Server space:

This is the space on hard disk of your server that will be allotted to your site. Without graphics a typical web page occupies 40 – 50 Kb. Now 1000 kb = 1 MB. Allowing space for graphics too and need for any future expansion anything between 50 -100 MB should be good enough if you are not running a flashy website. Many companies offer space up to 1 GB (1000 MB) but if you do not require, do not fall for the offer.

•Bandwidth:

A very important aspect and often overlooked. This is the amount of actual data that can be transferred from the web server that holds your website. It is directly linked to the number of visitors to your site. If you have 10000 visitors per month with few downloads you will require anything between 5 -6 GB per month. More downloads means higher requirement. As your business grows you will need more. For starting 10 GB should be good enough. That leaves you with extra margin.

•E- Mail aliases:

This lets you formulate an e-mail address on your site address e.g. anything@ your sitename.com where anything can be support, live support, help, info, subscribe etc. Anything! This makes your business look professional. Look for you needs but anything around 10 is good enough. Many companies offer unlimited aliases too.

•Watch for these too:

If you plan to accept payment on your side an access to SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption is must. If you want your site to be interactive you would need to install cgi(Common Gateway Interface). So better to look for a host who supplies you your own cgi bin.

If you wish to create your site in Microsoft FrontPage then check whether your host provides FrontPage extension. If you plan to run a site with database then MySQL should be a desired feature.

Your host should also provide you free access to your server. You should have free access to log files and statistics of the traffic your site receives. If your host offers referral programme it is better.

•Customer Support:

This matters a great deal to your business. You will need this help whenever you run in trouble. If your host is not supportive or is not prompt enough then it could mean loss in your business. See that you are provided a good and meaningful support. Send them a question or two. Study the response. Find out if they are available on phone in case you are in emergent situation.

Make sure that this service is free and they will not charge anything in name of customer support.

Finally, you will have to find what matches your business needs. Search before you settle for a deal. Narrow down your choice to a few prospective hosts. Look for their reputation. Ask them examples of sites hosted.

Check with their existing clients and find how satisfied they are. Most good business hosts are available between $ 15- 50 with few differences that could matter to the individual.

You can start small and upgrade later provided your host gives you this option. Select the one who allows you to expand if the need arises.

Just two words before you go. “Select carefully”

The Birth of a Professional Web Site: Part Eight Writing Effective Sales Copy

Thursday, February 19th, 2009

A professional looking web site is a very important part of developing a profitable Internet business. However, your sales copy is just as important — each will play a major role in your success.

The key to writing effective sales copy is simply learning how to write persuasive words specifically written for your targeted potential customer. You must feel their needs and write your copy with passion, excitement and benefits. Tell them exactly what’s in it for them by writing copy that evokes a specific emotion and stresses your product’s benefits.

Use the following formula when writing your sales copy:

A – Attention – Use a powerful headline that demands attention
I – Interest – Intrigue interest and create curiosity
D – Detail – Provide details about your product or service
A – Action – Call for action

When you begin writing your copy, your text should be written in a black, legible font with a light background. Avoid using fancy fonts or backgrounds that will make your text difficult to read. Write in small blocks of text with a space between each block. There is nothing that will make your visitor click away faster than a sea of black text –so make sure you use plenty of white space.

A great way to write your copy and come up with new benefits is to use the “so what” strategy. After each sentence, say to yourself, “so what” and then elaborate.

Example:

XYZ computers are lightning fast. (so what) They can process information faster than any other computer on the market. (so what) Your programs will instantly load on command, (so what) saving you hours of valuable time and frustration over the life of your computer.

Remember…benefits sell not features.

Headline

The first and most important part of your sales copy is the headline. If your headline doesn’t instantly capture your targeted potential customers’ attention, and arouse a specific emotion, the rest of your sales copy will be useless.

In order to write an effective headline, you must learn how to use specific words to achieve a specific reaction.

Before writing your headline, you must first learn a little bit about the basic human motivators. According to psychologist Abraham Maslow, human behavior is always the result of one or more of five basic needs. He listed these needs in a sequence that he refers to as “the hierarchy of human needs.”

He believes that until a less important need is met there won’t be any desire to pursue a more important need. Below are the five human motivators, beginning with the basic needs and continuing to the most important needs.

Physiological – Basic human needs include hunger, thirst, shelter, clothing and sex.

Safety (Security) – Human need for physical, emotional and financial security.

Social (Affiliation) – Human need for love, affection, companionship and acceptance.

Esteem (Self Esteem) – Human need for achievement, recognition, attention and respect.

Self-actualization – Human need to reach their full potential.

When you are aware of the basic human needs, you can incorporate these needs into your writing. A great headline will appeal to your potential customers’ emotions. You must feel their needs, wants and desires and write your headlines with passion and emotion.

Introduction

Just as your headline is a very important part of your sales copy, the first paragraph is just as important. Studies have shown that if your headline attracts your potential customers’ attention, and you can maintain their attention through the first paragraph, chances are they’ll read the rest of your copy.

The first paragraph should clearly define the benefits that will be outlined within your sales copy — identify a problem and promote your product or service as the solution.

Subheadings

Subheadings are basically just smaller headlines used to break up your text blocks. They also provide your readers with important highlights of your paragraphs.

Use plenty of subheadings throughout your copy, as not all of your visitors will read your copy word for word. They’ll simply scan it and only read what catches their attention.

Remove the Risk

You must provide your potential customers with a solid, no risk, money back guarantee. In addition, provide a limited time free trial or download that will completely remove their risk. This will build your potential customers’ confidence in you and put their mind at ease.

Call for Action

Once your potential customer has read your sales copy, you must direct them to your order page by asking for the order.

Use a P.S.

When your visitor scans your sales message, chances are they’ll read your headline, sub headlines and your PostScript message. Place your most important benefits within your PS message.

Provide Testimonials

Testimonials provide a great way to reassure your visitors. Blend your testimonials in with your sales message. Avoid making your visitors have to click to another page to view your testimonials — chances are, they won’t. By blending your testimonials in with your sales message, you can ensure they will be read.

Long Copy verses Short Copy

It is a proven fact that long sales copy out-sells short sales copy. However, some visitors do prefer a short sales letter. You can provide your visitors with both. For those who prefer a short sales letter, provide opportunities to click through to your order page prior to ending your sales letter.

Try to keep your sales letter all on one page. Your visitors would much rather have to scroll through your letter than click through and load another page. With each additional click, you’ll lose a percentage of your potential customers.

Your words should seamlessly flow together from your headline through to your order page. Every word, sentence and headline should have one specific purpose — to lead your potential customer to your order page. The simple, well-designed web sites with killer sales copy make the sales.

Making Your Websites More Compelling

Thursday, February 19th, 2009

The Internet is a remarkable publishing medium. With just a little effort, you can make your web pages visually irresistible by playing with color, shapes and text. Whether your websites are already launched or you’re ready to create your first few, use the 3 simple steps below to kick things up a notch and make your sites professional and appealing.

Step 1: Grab People’s Attention with a Photo or Graphic.

Without a logo or visual image to represent the central offering on your web page, you are asking potential clients to immediately take a big leap and dive into your text. Why risk the possibility of them not reading your important message? People browsing the web are notoriously impatient. Capture their attention with a photo/graphic before they click off your site.

Choose the perfect image from Photodisc, ClipArt or Corbis for as little as $9 to $90 per image. Human beings are visual creatures. Consider your favorite magazine for a moment. Would it still be your favorite if it used only text on its cover this month?

Step 2: Boost the credibility of your service or product by using a professional color scheme.

Using the image you selected in step one, it’s easy to go the next step and pull together a professional looking color scheme. ColorSchemer is a small, inexpensive software (US$25) that helps you choose a color scheme that’s eye-catching and unexpected, even if you’re color-challenged. When picking colors, don’t be afraid to let your personality show through. Check out http://www.colorschemer.com/.

Step 3: Use graphical “signposts” throughout your material to help readers absorb your message.

As you browse the web, start making mental notes about sites you enjoy visiting. I’m willing to bet it’s the ones that break up text with colored bullets, numbers and other signposts that mentally engage you the most. I’ll even go so far as to say that a website that does not use graphical signposts shows a disregard for the needs of the reader, intentionally or not.

Think of these mini-graphics as a way of showing consideration to your reader. They want to read your material and you help them make it easy by providing mental white space and places to rest their eyes.

Just a few No-No’s:

Don’t overdo.

The power of visual communication can be diluted if too many images are used on each page. There is both art and science to finding the right balance since too many images on a website can be just as ineffective as too few. The key is to work at finding this balance by studying other websites.

Don’t use Flash or other animation.

More often than not, flash/animation comes across as cheap rather than professional and has only been shown to be effective in very specific circumstances. Moreover, web pages created with Flash don’t rank well with search engines. If you must use it, do so very sparingly and be sure to have it professionally designed.

Whatever you do, don’t be bland.

With millions of websites published every day, you must stand out in order to be noticed. Graphics that reflect you, your offering and your personality will help you become more attractive to clients — quickly, affordably and with style.

One of the challenges of working online is to alleviate your client’s natural reservations in a new and unfamiliar environment – the virtual world. Making things more comfortable for them is your number one priority and graphics will help you achieve that. By going the extra mile to make your websites look 100% professional, you become more credible in your own eyes as well.

Your Website Design — Four Tips to Remember when Using Graphics

Thursday, February 19th, 2009

In this article, I include four graphics tips that I learned the hard way.

TIP #1. Be sure to use the ALT parameter. The ALT parameter is the descriptive text that should be included with the image tag. The reasons are that often visitors have set their browsers to not display graphics, if a link is broken the visitor will only see a box with a red x, and those who are visually impaired will have no idea what is being included on the page (they now have programs that read the text to them as they surf, so they will hear the description in the ALT tags). In addition, the browsers of today show a box with the ALT text when one rolls their mouse over the image. This is a big help if you rely upon buttons for your navigation.

TIP #2. Don’t rely upon graphics for presenting your content. Many graphic designers who have come to the Internet from print work have been disappointed by the lack of having the usual variety of fonts they have enjoyed in the past. To circumvent this scarcity, they develop graphics using fonts of their choice to broadcast their message. The problem is that search engines judge a site and pages by the words that appear. They do not read the words on a graphic, so you will miss out on placement. My suggestion is to use the fonts available.

TIP #3. Use excellent photographs. I prefer to take my own. If that is impossible, ask for original prints to scan or high resolution digital images. After enhancing with the graphics program of your choice, use that program to do as much compressing of file size as possible without losing all of the detail. Most users today are in too much of a hurry to wait for lengthy downloads.

TIP #4. Make sure that the graphic images that you use for navigation are self-explanatory. I have visited many sites with clever icons that are actually links to other pages, but are confusing enough that one has no idea where he or she is going. Just remember that the easier the navigation, the longer your visitor will stay on your site and the longer the better!

Graphics are fun and definitely enhance your site. Just make sure that you or your designer/developer uses them with thought and care!

How to Structure Your Marriage

Thursday, February 12th, 2009

My wife N’omi is often asked if she doesn’t believe in equality for women, because some of the things she says sound odd to the modern ear. But she always replies:

“Why should I give up superiority for mere equality? I have worked at developing my feminine traits and my human abilities. So as a woman, I am superior. But as a man, I’m a failure.

Why waste my time trying to be something I’m not? I can compete well with men in terms of some of my human abilities. But just as men can never compete with women in terms of feminine traits, I can never compete with men in terms of masculine traits.

And since I used to counsel a group of gay and lesbian people, I can say with authority that if you knew what female impersonators or sex-change people went through mentally, emotionally, and physically, you wouldn’t think it was so easy for men to compete with women at being female.

I’ll never be as strong as most men-they generally have 300% the upper-body strength of most women! And I’ll never have the masterful presence of a man, no matter how powerful a presence I present as a woman.

During the many years before I met Joel, I functioned as father and mother to five of my children. I was only able to fulfill the father role by telling my children stories of how wonderful their father was, and how much he loved them, and was proud of them. But I couldn’t BE a father to them; only a faithful mom.

Physically, beyond the obvious gender differences, men are jointed differently from women, which enables them to excel at certain activities that women find more difficult-though a woman’s special jointing enables her to do things well that a man finds more difficult.

Which makes my point: Each gender has gender-specific qualities, as well as human attributes.

In fact, if a pathologist finds a single human bone, he can tell whether it was from a male or a female. A geneticist examining a single human cell can tell whether it is male or a female.

So I believe in being the best of what I can be. That includes my feminine qualities, and it includes my human qualities. For this reason, I am a very strong woman, emotionally and mentally. I am not in conflict with myself or with the people around me.

I am busy being me, and getting happier and more fulfilled with each passing year.”

N’omi is really that wonderful woman, powerful and focused on fulfilling her potential-in her own life, and in our life together.

So what do N’omi and I have? Are we equal? No, because equal means the same. Men and women are not the same.

The only way in which all people are “created equal” is that we all have the same 24 hours a day in which to make decisions about who we have decided to be.

Marriage is not 1 + 1 = 2. That would be equality. Marriage is a partnership, to which each partner brings a different assortment of qualities: character traits, aptitudes, attributes, opinions, beliefs, and other accumulated stuff that makes them who they are.

In fact, this means that no two humans, regardless of gender, are really “equal” when they meet.

But in marriage, you are joining two very different sets of qualities, and adding gender qualities to the equation. This is a volatile mix because marriage is a partnership of unequals, not an equality of two identical parties.

We need to discard the idea that “unequal” means one is superior and one inferior. That’s NOT what it means.
“Unequal” just means “not the same,” or “different.” And anyone can see that every human is different from every other human.

Furthermore, many studies-psychological and physiological-show that men have many traits in common with each other that they don’t share with women.

And many similar studies show that women have many traits in common with each other that they don’t share with men.

Bottom Line: Marriage is a partnership, but not an equality. As a partnership, it consists of two very different people who bring different qualities to the relationship.

These qualities are of two kinds: Personal and gender. personal qualities are individual and not gender-specific. But there are gender-specific qualities that exist and must be recognized for what they are before true partnership can blossom.

Remember: Men and women are two races that share the same planet, but not much else! To get along happily, they have to learn about what’s unchangeable-in their own and in their mate’s nature-and what can be modified.

Then they will stop blaming, and start working together. That’s partnership!
